The GU10 lamp is a compact halogen lamp that offers the advantages of a reduced size and operates at 120V. The GU10 can replace popular PAR20 halogen lamps but with a shorter length. GU10 lamps fit a special GU10 lamp socket which provides solid contacts and a secure twist to lock the lamp in the socket.
